The Health Quality & Safety Commission is pleased to introduce Whakakotahi - Primary Care Quality Improvement challenge 2017, and we encourage those working in the primary health care sector to consider applying.
We are calling for small-scale quality improvement projects that can be planned and delivered over an 18-month period. We will prioritise initiatives that address equity, consumer engagement and integration between primary and secondary care. A key objective of the Children’s Action Plan is to develop a safe and competent children’s workforce who can better identify, support and protect vulnerable children. The Vulnerable Children Act 2014 (the Act) introduced measures that will ensure that children can be better protected from abuse and neglect both in their homes and in the community.
