Nau mai haere mai! Welcome to our new and improved website for Ngā Pou Mana. The new website is tablet and mobile phone friendly, and provides opportunities for networking and connecting with our members in a targeted way that was previously not possible. Ngā mihi to you e hoa! Tau kē! We have an exciting year ahead with Ngā Pou Mana. A fairly new board was voted in at the previous executive hui and AGM held in August 2016 which aligned with the Koroneihana event. With a new board, the last few months have been spent rebuilding the foundations and ensuring that the board has the right tools and supports in place to make informed decisions for our members. Our next executive hui is in Christchurch in October, and we hope to hui with local Māori allied health members and organisations while we are there. We also invite any of our members to come and attend our executive hui. We will be running a professional development session on communications and media training that our members are more than welcome to attend, so look out for an upcoming pānui for this hui. On behalf of the executive, we welcome the new and old faces back to Ngā Pou Mana, and we hope to see you all at the Hui Ā Tau in November (further details to be provided soon).
